Susan C. Armstrong - Principal

 

Susan C. Armstrong is an attorney with an excellent reputation in family law. She has been a senior partner for more than 27 years with a major international law firm. In 2013, she founded her own boutique firm with an interest in providing exceptional representation to select clientele. Her representation includes a variety of issues including both family law cases and civil litigation.

 

Ms. Armstrong previously served as a substitute judge; Chair of the Virginia State Bar Litigation Section; Chair of the Virginia Bar Association Family Law Section; Chair of the Virginia State Bar 3rd District Disciplinary Committee; Board Member of the Richmond Bar Association; and served on the Virginia State Bar Ethics Committee and on the faculty of the Virginia State Bar Professionalism Course. She is a past President of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel and is a Fellow of both the Virginia Law Foundation and the American Law Foundation. Ms. Armstrong has been listed in the Best Lawyers in America and, as a family law attorney, in Virginia Business Magazine’s Legal Elite for many consecutive years.  

Ms. Armstrong has been in Richmond for over 30 years and has strong commitments to the community. She is the former President of the Board of Child Savers (formerly Memorial Children Guidance Clinic) and currently serves on the Board of Directors of First Tee of Richmond & Chesterfield.

 

Ms. Armstrong graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and was admitted the the Virginia State Bar in 1979.
